Victoria Fulmer is from Louisville, KY and re-located to Florida in 2005. She is in her 22nd year of being a Physical Education teacher. She started teaching tap, jazz, gymnastics and cheerleading when she was 14 years old and life-guarded and taught swim lessons all throughout her college career. Most recently she has taught friends’ children and even adults to swim. She was an assistant high school football coach for her husband at one time. Vickie knew in the 2nd grade that she was going to be a PE teacher. She loves kids and teaching them activities that they can enjoy their entire lives. Vickie received her Teaching degree from Eastern Kentucky University and her Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Louisville. She taught her own children to swim as infants and feels it is very important for children to know how to swim. Vickie has high expectations of her students but is also very patient while pushing them to reach their goals. She likes to make the lessons fun but competitive and likes to see all of her students have fun while striving for success. As a veteran PE teacher, she likes to incorporate games into her swim lessons to add to the excitement of learning to swim and has experience as a Special Olympics coach.
Pegg has been teaching swimming lessons and aqua aerobics for over half of her life! Babies, children, and adults all have benefitted from Pegg's unique style of teaching. She holds certifications in various types of water aerobics, including: Aqua Rehab and Aqua Fitness. She also holds Red Cross Certifications in Water Safety Instruction (WSI) and CPR.
